Just want you to know that our Camp Chef 2-burner stove is one of the best investments we ever made. We use it for cook outs in the yard and when camping for griddling, steaming, and frying. This fall we canned over 100 quarts of veggies, tomatoes, pickles, and 24 pints of jam on our 2-burner. It was just great to be able to do this outside and not have the mess in the house. Those 30,000 BTU burners made quick work of boiling the canned goods too. Can't wait for spring to start using it again, but we keep it handy in case of a power outage. We purchased ours online last year as well as the case and large griddle. Since then 5 of our friends that camp have purchased them. Thanks for great merchandise.

GRIDDLE CARE & SEASONING

Beginner and advanced chefs alike can enjoy success with the support of a quality steel fry griddle. These beautiful griddles will fit into your personal cooking style. Over time, the griddle will take on a character of its own. The color of the griddle will transform from a shiny silver metallic into warm brown tones. This is a sign of good seasoning.

In order to develop the perfect seasoning on your griddle, wipe a very thin coat of lard or white shortening over the entire surface. Repeat this process before and after each use. If you prefer to use vegetable oil, be sure to wipe away any excess. Too much oil will cause the griddle to become sticky and rancid.

Be sure to store your griddle in a dry location, using a storage bag to protect the cooking surface. You are sure to enjoy years of excellent outdoor use.
