Terryl Miller - February 09, 2004

Mini Dutch Oven Recipe (perfect for when the candle is gone)

Ingredients:

16 oz. can sliced peaches (or your favorite type of fruit)
3/4 C. dry french vanilla cake mix
1 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. lemon-lime soda

How to Prepare:

1. Drain peaches (retaining liquid) and place in the bottom of the 5” oven.
2. Pour enough liquid to just cover all of the peaches.
3. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top of the peaches.
4. Cut the butter in to small pieces and dot the dry cake mix with it.
5. Slowly pour the Sprite over the top.
6. Bake with 4 to 5 coals around the bottom of the oven and 3 to 4 coals on the top.
7. The cobbler is done when the top is browned and the juice is bubbling through and thickened. Enjoy!
