Creating the Perfect Backyard Campfire Setting

Every patio needs a warm hearth area. The heat of the fire inspires comfort and conversation with friends and family. Something about a campfire is both relaxing and invigorating. Some of our most fond memories of mountain camping are centered around the campfire.
When planning your own patio hearth, be sure to incorporate elements reminiscent of your favorite camping memories. A portable hearth system enables you to move the firepit around your backyard for the perfect location.

Select the Del Rio copper bowl fire pit to create an elegant setting. This unit burns wood, pressed logs or charcoal. Toss on the convenient patio cover to protect your Del Rio between uses. The Fire Ring covers any single-burner outdoor high-pressure cooker to let you create a campfire anywhere. The Fire Ring features faux wood logs, fire tray and a carry bag. This unit also lets you prepare a campfire during fire restrictions.

Hearth Party Tips:

You want to invite your friends over for a relaxing evening around the warm hearth. As with any party, be sure to plan ahead to achieve positive results – smiles and compliments from your guests.

Begin your Hearth Party plans by selecting a theme. You might want to hold a campfire rendezvous, complete with skits and a feast of beef dogs and s'mores. Be sure to tell your invited guests to dress ready for a high-mountain campout with a hot fire to keep them warm in the cool fall air. Entertainment might include options including a guitar concert, prepared skits or ghost stories.

Or, choose a Hawaiian luau for a theme. Imagine the possibilities. Toss some pork hot dogs on their roasting sticks and finish up with a pineapple and peach pie cooked up in a cast iron pie iron. Whatever theme you create, be sure to center all your activities around a warm hearth.
