Lewis & Clark Fish Soup   Rating

Ingredients:

1 Cube Portable Soup (Chicken or Beef bullion)
1 C. or handful of dried or fresh fish
1 C. water
Watercress or available spices

How to Prepare:

Add all of the ingredients together, bring to a boil, and eat. When the Corp started eating fish after the Lolo trail experience with the Nez Perce, the change in diet took its toll for a few days. Lewis and Clark anticipated this and carried certain medicines and herbs to help. Peruvian bark, Assafoetic, Colombo, Magnesia, wintergreen/peppermint, Copaiboe, and flower of sulfur.
