Pumpkin Cake   Rating

Taken from the 2003 Ultimate Dutch Oven Cookoff

Ingredients:

Paste:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter melted and cooled
1 egg

Mix:
1 large can pumpkin
1/2 C. sugar
1 C. of cake mix
1/2 C. milk
2 eggs

Topping:
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 Tbsp. pumpkin spice
2 Tbsp. butter

How to Prepare:

Paste:
Mix cake mix, melted butter and egg into paste and spread into bottom of buttered pan.

Mix:
Mix pumkin, sugar, cake mix, milk and eggs in a bowl , pour over paste in pan.

Topping:
Use 2 forks to mix sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin spice and butter, then sprinkle over cake and bake for 45-60 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean.
