I just purchased a triple
burner gas cooker. I already had a
two
burner that I used all last year for food vendoring at outdoor
concerts and The Taste of Des Moines. I could not believe the extra
power that the three burners gave me at The Taste of Des Moines.
I was able to keep up and cook food for over 5,000 people. I had
each burner in use. The food that I fixed was Cajun fried catfish
fingers, gumbo, jambalaya, Cajun fries, red beans and
rice, all was prepared outdoors. Since I purchase the second cooker
I don't even use the barbecue grill that much anymore.
78 Full stomachs - Matt G.
We belong
to a small eight couple (and families) camping group that enjoys
camping as much as possible. We spent ten days in Northern Michigan
with approximately seventy-eight friends and family. Out of the
eight couples in the group, four of us purchased the three
burner stove and the griddle plate to go with it. We set up our camp kitchen
and had breakfast and dinner for all seventy-eight people everyday.
Among the items that were cooked with the stoves were: roast, fajitas,
BBQ chicken, omelettes, pancakes, french toast and several other
items. There were guys in the group that were stepping up and wanting
to become the cooks after years of wanting nothing to do with it.
Thanks to the Camp Chef stove people are helping prepare meals,
which allows all of us to eat together.
Cooking for the masses - Norm B.
I already told you about the great scout camp
experience. Three
weeks later I took my Tahoe
3 burner and accessories to a family
camping outing and reunion.
The first two days I did all the cooking
for
my family and our neighbors who had come up to visit. Next, I cooked
for my family and nine other relatives for three meals. The last
three days I did all the cooking for my family and my sons' family,
10 of us. When I say all the cooking, I mean everything from fantastic
breakfast meals to baking trout in the grill
box to great meat
and potato suppers. I even cooked a chocolate cherry dumpling on
the stove
using my new Lewis
and Clark Dutch oven with a bunt cake pan
just sitting inside with the cake in it. Forty minutes from start
to finish
and another 15 minutes to eat it up.
I find myself looking for
opportunities to "do the cooking" since I got this
stove earlier this year.
I don't need anything else - Walter W.
I use my Tahoe
camp stove at home for picnics and camping. With
the BBQ
box I don't need anything else . I can make anything from
a gourmet breakfast to an old-fashioned BBQ. The gang likes having
a short order cook on board. It's great!
Envy of the entire hotel - Judith D.
My husband and I love the 3-Burner
Tahoe [stove]. We have used
it now for three years. We rent a hotel room with a large patio at
Lake
Mojave. Set up the Tahoe [stove] and do all our cooking outside.
We are the envy of the whole hotel. All our friends drive over
for breakfast
and stay the day for dinner.
Makes living outdoors even better - Roger M.
I truly live outdoors.... as much as my wife will let me. And my
Camp Chef
triple burner stove with the added accessories I am accumulating
makes living outdoors even better.
Cooking outdoors is a snap - JD G.
We purchased a TB-90LWG (Tahoe) in February of this year. We have
used it numerous times from cooking breakfast for our friends and
family
to cooking
our veggies and potatoes. With this product cooking outdoors is a
snap. [It] keeps the house cool and not using the stove in the house
is just great. We are planning a family fishing trip in late July
and
the TB-90LWG (Tahoe) is most certainly coming along.
A godsend on cold mornings - Robert G.
I received the GB-90 (Pro 90) as a Christmas gift from my wife.
I made the mistake of taking it on one of our Scout outings. Now
the
Scouts
and leaders have to wrestle over who is going to use the stove. All
I can say is the product is very durable and is a godsend on cold
mornings.
I've had my Tahoe for 2 months now. Your service in getting the
accessories I wanted has been great. I added the 2
burner grill box,
[ignitors] on all three burners, the fold
out shelves, cover and carry
bag. For Fathers Day I received the Lewis & Clark set
in the wooden box, that added a grill, dutch oven, fry pan, lid,
etc.
.
I took it to Boy Scout Camp for eight days last week. What a joy
it was to cook for twenty on just one stove. The grill box is so
useful that I don't know how we would ever get along without it.
We could grill and heat water at the same time. Or, we could fix
eggs, bacon and hot cakes all at once and heat the water while we
ate. The big burners really heat things up in a hurry. The 13 scouts
and 7 adult leaders looked forward to cooking because it was so efficient,
good eating and fun too.
Best camp kitchen at the festival - Scott S. Self Proclaimed
"Back Country Chef"
The Ranger
3 burner stove is the centerpiece of my camp kitchen.
I use both the double griddle and double grill attachments to cook
for a group of off-road mountain bikers. At the Jim Thorpe Mountain
Bike weekend my kitchen was selected as the best camp kitchen at
the Festival [out] of over 1000 people. The Festival director came
over and ate sweet potato fries and chicken wings cooked at the
same
time
on
the stove.
I also fed 30 people every morning for breakfast in about 45 minutes,
including cleanup. I am really sold on your products keep up the
good work.

In preparation for our annual 2 Day Hawaiian Festival, we discovered
that the griddle we were to use was not available. Since I was in
charge of the cooking detail, it was left up to me in finding a replacement.
While I was shopping for other items for the event, I came across
the Camp
Chef Triple Burner Tahoe Stove. I liked it's
features and purchased one that day. I next ordered the Deluxe Triple
Griddle so that we can use the grill for our festival. We handle
the breakfast menu which consist of SPAM, Rice, Portuguese Sausage,
and Eggs. I really put the grill/griddle to work that weekend by
cooking over 6000 pieces of sliced SPAM. Yes that's 6000 pieces!
Us Hawaiians LOVE our SPAM. My friends were amazed on how easy the
griddle warmed up and maintained it's heat. Cleanup was a breeze.
I must say this is the best investment I have ever made on outdoor
equipment. My friends liked mine so much they're already purchasing
their own! Kudos to Camp
Chef for designing an excellent product.
Pleasantly surprised and delicious turkey too- Kirk G.
Last year I bought the Camp
Chef Tahoe to use with the scouts on
a trip where the fire restrictions made it impossible to use fire
or charcoal. The scouts love to Dutch Oven cook and on the trip earlier
in the year were disappointed when we were not able to do the Dutch
Oven cooking do to the fire restrictions. We took the Camp Chef stove
with us, not really knowing how it would work. We were pleasantly
surprised at how great it worked. We did deep fried Chicken Breast
thinking it would be easiest to do on the stove. In the morning we
decided to try a mountain man breakfast and were concerned that it
would not turn out because we could not heat the top of the oven
like we could with charcoal. The final results were great. We just
ended up stirring the mixture more than usual.
Since the success
on that trip, I have gone through three bottles of propane. We
loved the stove so much that we decided to do last
years Thanksgiving dinner in the Turkey
Roaster and server it with
Dutch Oven Potatoes. Not exactly a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner
but it was the best we had since getting married. Now whenever
we have a family dinner planned, we take the Tahoe with
us and know that we are going to be able to have an enjoyable Dutch
Oven dinner,
without the mess of charcoal or a fire.
